Assassin’s Creed III Leaked Artwork Suggests That Action Will Take Place During American Revolution

Assassin's Creed III American Revolution

Recently, Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed III release date, but not many other details about the game have been released meaning that we don’t know when the action of the game will happen. Thankfully, Ubisoft has released some artwork which suggests that Assassin’s Creed III will occur during the American Revolution.

The developers of the game said that the release date of the game is October 30th, 2012 on all major platforms including PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. As neither of the previous lead characters will be in the game, we’re left wondering who’s going to be our hero.

The leaked image of the game’s protagonist suggests that the American Revolution will be the main event in Assassin’s Creed III while the lead character may be called Julian Auditore. It appears that the leaked artwork comes from a person working at Best Buy who said that this is a promotional photo for Assassin’s Creed III.

There are too many ifs and buts therefore nothing can be said for sure. The lead character is carrying a United States flag while wearing a jacket tie, facts which led us to think that the action will happen during the American Revolution.

Some folks have claimed that the protagonist is also carrying a bow and a quiver, a tomahawk, and jewellery which are specific to the Native Americans.
