CM10 Alpha Preview Brings Android 4.1 Jelly Bean On Samsung Galaxy S3
The CyanogenMod crew has done it again. The team has already released the early CM10 builds for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean can be used on the Galaxy S3 especially on the international version that sports a quad-core processor because the work for the international model it’s much more advanced than the one for the US model. The only flaws that may appear are related to the camera functions. Also, it is possible that the Wi-Fi tethering will not work as it should.
The teams released CM10 builds for the US version of the Galaxy S3 too, but there have more imperfections, so don’t be surprised if the mod will not work properly because it’s on an early stage. It’s possible for something to go wrong even if it’s not included in the issues list. The builds for the US model are not meant for those who don’t know their way with these kind of things.
On the other hand, the build it’s pretty simple to install on the Exynos version of the GS3. All you have to do is flash the CM10 zip and then the Gapps file provided. After that, just reboot and you’re done.
