Adobe Photoshop Touch Now Available For Download On The iPad 2 For Only $9.99
An unusual presence at the Mobile World Congress was Adobe who revealed the Photoshop Touch application among others. Although it’s going to become available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the app will be first released on the iPad, while other Adobe Touch applications will also make their appearance on iOS device in the future.
Adobe introduced Photoshop Touch for iPad, and it said that the application features important PC capabilities, new tools specially designed for tablet use, and support far various effects. According to Adobe, iPad users will be able to compose layered photos taken from other pictures, edit them, add professional effects, and make use of many other tools.
The company has also unleashed a Scribble Selection Tool that allows iPad users to delete unwanted objects in their photos with ease. They simply have to scribble on the object, and mark whatever they want to keep. There’s a Refine Edge tool that allows users to soft-edge whatever they scribbled, and last but not least, it’s directly integrated into Facebook and Google Image Search(?).
People are going to see a lot of Photoshop Touch-edited photos on their Facebook profiles from now on because iPad 2 owners can purchase the application for the small amount of $9.99. It’s a small price to pay considering the tools provide by the application, and the fact that Adobe may release some updates in the future to fix bugs, improve the speed, or even add some minor features.
Other applications that will be released by Adobe on the iPad are Collage, Debut, Ideas, Kuler, and Proto. The Ideas app will also come pre-installed on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and it’s “ideal” to sketch your “ideas.”
