Computer remoting is an is an operation that gives you the possibility to access a certain computer from another from distance. I tried it and I was surprised by the quick response to mouse movements. Besides the main function, LogMeIn Pro includes other additional features to make it more interesting. For instance, you can stay and chat with the user on the other side of the connection if you want to. LogMeIn Pro also offers you the option to record the entire session.
One thing you cannot do properly is viewing photos in the remote computer. This is because when you remote control a PC the image resolution is lower than usual. Also, you will notice that the Java based file managers could feel a little clunky, but this is not really a downside of the application because it’s probably due to the java itself.
So, if you are searching for a quality remote control app you should definitely give LogMeIn a chance. Featuring pretty much everything you may need to access remote systems for any purpose like providing technical assistance or just for file sharing, LogMeIn is one of the best programs I’ve tried (in its branch).
This is the professional version of the application, but it also has a free version which you can download. However, this version also has a trial period which allows you to test it for a period of 30 days. Later you can purchase the full license at a price of $69.95 which allows you the one year usage. Also, the developers offer other version of the software that allow the usage on 5, 10 and even 25 computers (at bigger prices, of course). Nevertheless, the latter versions of LogMeIn are meant especially for companies, you won’t need that kind of support.
