J.P. Morgan Technology, Media, and Telecom conference was the guess of a very important information good for the rest of us during the process of featured 4G. About this subject talked Fran Shammo, which is the Verizon’s CFO, and he mentioned about the 3G to 4G devices, and the easiest way to succeed is to take a data share plan scheduled to launch this summer. He was mentioning as well that the burning through data is faster, but in the same time can be splited between people, and that’s an advantage. He also stated: ”If I can add as many devices as I want, that is more efficient from a family perspective and a small business perspective”

Verizon’s data share plan is scheduled to launch in mid-summer but no pricing details have been announced.

You should pay attention thou if you consider to make the next step to the upgrade with Verizon unlimited data plans are tempting, but not before they will drop the axe. The good part is that it sounds much easier and faster to split data between devices, specially for user’s which they have in use both iPad and iPhone, but any good part has a bad part, in this case we find the Sprint carrier, who has pledged that they’ll keep unlimited around even if an LTE iPhone will appear on the market eventually.

As well we can get the point of view of Fran Shammo, by not forcing to jump from 3G to 4G until 2013, and this make sense from his next statement: ”When they migrate off 3G they will have to go to data share. That is beneficial to us.”

The production of iPhone 5′s 4-inch panel could begin in June, and most likely the displays will be shipped to Foxconn factory, where the production of the next iOS smartphone would begin as of August.

Since the smartphone owners are using their devices to perform tasks that require more viewing area, like watching videos and web browsing, most of the phone makers have decided to place bigger displays inside their handhelds.

iPhone 4S’ itsy-bitsy 3.5-inch screen looks microwave’s display when compared to Galaxy Nexus 4.65-inch, One X’s 4.7-inch, or Galaxy S3′s 4.8-inch panels, not to mention Galaxy Note’s titanic 5.3-inch unit. Apple must now align to this trend and create an iPhone with a bigger display. A display bigger than 4-inch might cause unrest among the Apple fanboys, thus the 4-inch solutions remains the most reliable one for the Cupertino-based company.

The technical specifications of the highly-awaited Samsung flagship are forcing Apple to create a smartphone capable to withstand the heavy pressure coming from the South Korean rival. Samsung have placed a quad-core Exynos chipset inside the Galaxy S3 and the specialists are saying that is the most powerful mobile processor ever created. Therefore, the Americans must develop a CPU capable to fight against Samsung’s Exynos 4 Quad.

Some other rumors said that the iPhone 5 will feature a liquid metal unibody case, but no concrete evidence was provided to support this theory.

As expected, Nokia will continue to manufacture smartphones based on the Microsoft’s mobile platforms and the latest rumors say that the Windows Phone 8 Apollo devices are on their way.

A source of Techit, an Israeli tech blog, said that Nokia will release the first Windows Phone 8 smartphones by the end of 2012. The Israeli website claims that the information saying that the Windows Phone 8 Nokia smartphones will hit the market until 2012 is up comes straight from an official of the Finland-based company.

June will be a busy month for the world of mobile operating systems, as three of the most important companies involved on this segment will be presenting the new versions of their mobile platforms. Apple will showcase the new iOS 6 at WWDC 2012, Google is reportedly planning the Android 5.0 Jelly Bean launch at Google I/O event, while Bill Gates’ Microsoft have been linked with the demo of Windows Phone 8 Apollo at Windows Phone Developer Summit, scheduled for the same month.

The first two Nokia smartphones underpinned by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 were unveiled at Nokia World 2011 event in October and after seeing them everyone wondered where the flagship of Nokia’s WP line-up is.

Richard Shim also specifies that Apple is the most probable client for the Retina resolution screens that are available in the supply chain. However, Shim is not absolutely sure if Apple is the company that is going to buy the screens to use them in its machines.

Also, it’s not clear how Apple will manage the costs which will certainly increase with upgrading to Retina screens. The optical drive will be removed, thus some of the cost savings could be achieved, but the move from traditional drives to solid-state drives will increase the costs for storage. These drives are included in the MacBook Air models which are cheaper, but the potential customers of the MacBook Pro have great expectations and a higher-capacity drive is almost mandatory, thus higher costs for the device. Therefore, with all the involved changes it will be really interesting to watch how things will evolve and what prices will Apple’s computers have.

Three days have passed since Diablo 3 was launched and since then many of the fans who purchased the game are complaining about it. Therefore, the American producer have posted an official statement, apologizing for the way it have prepared Diablo 3 launch, as well for their lack of reaction when the servers were full, cracking because of huge number of players wanting to save the world from the claws of darkness.

As you probably know Diablo 3 was launched on May 15th, and as everyone expected millions of players have assaulted the Blizzard servers in an attempt to stop the hoards of demons. Unfortunately, even though the company have prepared for the post-launch chaos, the servers were unable to support the flux of players. Thus may of the players complained that were unable to connect to the servers and instead of hearing the Barbarian’s war cry they were “cursed” by a rain of errors, like the already classic The Servers Are Busy At This Time or Please Try Again Later Error 37.

Blizzard is aware of the problem and today have posted a press release apologizing for the incontinent they caused and because the gamers lost the battle against <del>the forces of hell</del> the human infrastructure. The Blizzard officials have made it clear for the Diablo 3 community that they have taken measures to reduce the server problems and have decided to delay the launch of the real-money feature in Auction House in order to avoid any other inconvenience.

Talking about the Auction House in Diablo 3, the same press statement also contains the release date of the real-money feature. Thus the players who discovered unique or rare items they can sell them for real money starting May 22nd.

<!--

As you probably know, the Google Music service can be used to authorize up to 10 devices to access the service. What you do not know, is that Google placed recently a cap on the number of device de-authorizations at 4 per year, this thing being noticed by an XDA member. For most of the users this might not be a major problem, but let’s not forget that other categories like ROM addicts, or frequent modders, and the problem will persist since eache new ROM and the all the full wipes are identified, as another new device, and it will fill up the 10 slots one by one.

The risk might appear if you are trying to de-authorize devices in the Google Music settings, in order not to fill up the 10 slots, but one day you can be in the situation that the music is not accessible anymore on the device, so the idea is quite scarring imagining that some users to reupload all my music to a different account because of this.

We can hear about good news as well, because from an inside source we could find out that Google already wants to fix this issue, after they get that the community is quite unhappy about the decision they took, so Google took the decision to allow everyone to de-authorize as many times as they feel like.

We suggest to everybody not to get to much excited, because we speculate that after Google will find a better and accurately way to count the de-authorization, the limited way will become available again, so we suggest to do some de-authorizing while you still, can using the settings page from play.google.com/music and clear out the old entries.

<!--

As you probably know, a new smartphone will be released in Korea this week from LG Electronics, the new product Optimus LTE2. This smartphone is known as the first one to use 2GB of RAM in the world, that means up to twice Tablet PC or notebook PC, and also external memory can be used by a microSD, up to 32 GB.

As specs, we could say that comparative to the previous model, the new LG Optimus LTE2 has improvements like the battery, which is more efficient with 40% that first generation, with ten hours of continuous talking, and standby time up to 255 hours thanks to the 2,150mAh battery. Another interesting thing is the support for convenient wireless charging. The power consumption, current efficiency has been enhanced by offering the communications and application processor into one chip using a chip-chip shrink.

LG Optimus LTE2 comes with a capacitive touchscreen of 16M colors 4.7-inch True HD IPS LCD,and that looks quite admirable. The processor is nothing to be a surprise, a Qualcomm S4 MSM8960 clocked at 1.5GHz, and will run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and all this are perfectly fitted in the smatphone’s measures of 134.7 x 69.5 x 8.9mm, and weighing in at 145g.

As well we can say that the main camera is performing an 8MP quality, 3264×2448 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash, and comes with features like Geo-tagging, or face and smile detection. Along this we have a small camera in the front as well of 1.3-megapixel. We can say that in video mode, which runs in 1080p the quality is not disappointing.

<!--

We know that this is not the best smartphone on the market, but it will not make you shame in the moment you will take it out of you’re pocket. Even tough we consider that LG Optimus LTE2 will not be a threat for the big players of the market, it can play his role to help you complete you’re daily tasks, for the factory price: 935,000 won, in Korea.

Anonymous hits again, and the newest victim is The Pirate Bay, after the site openly criticized Anonymous last week for DDoS’ing UK ISP Virgin Media. In the last 24 hours, the site was inaccessible world wide, and the timing of the downtime seems to be the biggest problem of the users.

We can imagine that millions of people were already expecting to have problems by accessing the domain, after was required the blocking of the site of country’s leading ISPs, but they did not anticipated the failure of many published workarounds to resupply access to the site. After the attack of Anonymous, the site workers expected the site to work properly, but currently we can notice it is not, and is unavailable in many parts of the world, being subjected to a DDoS attack how a source from inside The Pirate Bay explained.

The conflict between Anonymous and The Pirate Bay started a week ago after the attack against Virgin, (which we know they are the first ones which they wanted the shut down of The Pirate Bay), and they stated: “We do NOT encourage these actions. We believe in the open and free internets, where anyone can express their views. Even if we strongly disagree with them and even if they hate us” and “So don’t fight them using their ugly methods. DDOS and blocks are both forms of censorship.”

The good part is that no matter what method, people will still use The Pirate Bay, by the help of proxies set up to circumvent the ISP blockades, they can solve the problem of DDoS.

<!--

Tizen is an open source, standards-based software platform supported by leading mobile operators, device manufacturers and from next year if everything goes like is planed, the Korean company will be able to allocate more resources for the mobile operating system. This will be the new source mobile platform that Samsung and Intel have collaborate together, under Tizen Association umbrella. Do not consider that this “game” is only between the two giants, because also Sprint joined recently.

In a video presentation, we can see various Android apps, such as Facebook, Winamp, and some games, running on Tizen OS, without a disturbing lag, and this thanks to OpenMobile, and they have 100% compatibility. OpenMobile, is the company which helps to adapt apps, for specific platforms, to run to another as well.

The road till the end, when a finalized Tizen-powered device will hit the market, it will not be easy to introduce another platform to the masses, but as a good part, we will not have to worry about the apps, because plenty of them will be ready to use after a negotiate between OpenMobile and Samsung’s “Application Compatibility Layer”.

As a feature from Tizen, Samsung already unveiled a prototype phone, which runs Tizen OS, and inside of it we could find out some details, like including a dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a Super AMOLED HD Plus display with 1280 x 720 resolution. Being a prototype, we can have a lot of changes till the final product.

<!--
