HTC One XXL rumored with quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM
The HTC One XL has just been released in the US and we already have rumors about an improved version of it. One XXL’s name doesn’t come from its size, considering that it’s the same size as the One XL, though it comes with better specs.
According to the leak, HTC One XXL will come with the same 4.7-inch display and 8 MP camera, but it will feature 2GB of RAM, quad-core Snapdragon S4 CPU and a 1.8MP frontal camera. We don’t know anything about its pricing, internal memory and availability yet, unfortunately.
Hopefully HTC will release the smartphone soon, as they’re already losing market share and going down, due to Samsung’s huge success with their Galaxy S series, along with the Galaxy Note. HTC One XXL could really be a good competitor for the Galaxy S3, being more powerful than it.
Though we can’t be even sure the One XXL exists, considering it’s just an early rumor. We can only hope to get more information and even a release date soon.
Currently the US smartphones feature dual-core processors, because the quad-core ones are incompatible with the 4G LTE networks. Though it was known that Qualcomm had a 4G LTE compatible one in the works, so we might finally see it on a device.
HTC is also rumored to release a competitor for Samsung’s Galaxy Note, though the One XXL can’t be it, considering it’s size, which is lower than even the Galaxy S3. Though this doesn’t mean they aren’t still planning to compete with the Note, considering it’s had a great success, with almost 10 million sales.
