Samsung Galaxy Note 2 US Release Date Is Mid November
The South Korean company has officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date for the US market. The smartphone sporting a huge 5.5-inch display was introduced at IFA Berlin 2012 tech show and if you are reading this from US, learn that you will be able to get your hands on the high-end phablet starting mid November.
The Samsung officials have unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date via a press statement released yesterday. The new Android-powered phablet will be available on the US territory at Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular, the latter one already receiving pre-orders for the quad-core smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the company’s first smartphone to come pre-loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and everyone thought that a terminal with Note 2′s specifications and running on the latest version of Google’s mobile platform would harm Samsung Galaxy S3′s sales. But the Asians did their homework and by the time the new phablet hits the market the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 will roll out.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and is underpinned by a Exynos 4 Quad chipset based on for ARM Cortex A9 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz, while the graphics processing is managed by a Mali-400MP GPU. The 5.5 inch smartphone sports 2 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of internal flash storage.
In terms of connectivity, Galaxy Note 2 comes with 4G LTE support, 3G, NFC chip, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi in all standards. It also comes with an 8 megapixel camera with BSI sensor, face and smile detection, image stabilization, LED flash and support for full HD video recording.
As about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date in Europe, the South Korean officials have announced at IFA Berlin that the smartphone will be available starting October.
